TS3 sound issue; mutes all other sounds when nothing is playing from TS3

Hello. I have this weird issue where all other sounds are disabled when teamspeak is NOT playing sound. That is, whenever everyone stops talking and teamspeak goes quiet, it disables all other sounds. Youtube videos for example continue to play sound when everything goes quiet in TS but when... TS3 sound issue; mutes all other sounds when nothing is playing from TS3
