Other people sound like theyre in a large empty room?

So I just built my new PC for BF1 and one of the first things I did was install TS3. But the odd thing is all sounds that come through TS3 (other people, the announcer, etc.) all sound as if they were in a large empty room. It's not crisp and clear like it was on my last PC. So is something on... Other people sound like theyre in a large empty room?
