Linked clients or same identity?

So, my friend has a music bot on his laptop and somehow their identities are linked as in, they're the same. For example when I lower the volume of one of them, it does for both of them When I assign a group for one of them, it does for both at the same time. How do we fix this? Linked clients or same identity?
