Help setting up server, as other tutorials seem not to work

So I am attempting to setup a TS server for a Minecraft server I am a part of, and have a server computer with a forwarded port and all. But I cannot seem to get it to work. See, here is the issue: the computer is a rented server computer and I have access through a virtual desktop connection.... Help setting up server, as other tutorials seem not to work
